If the brush roll still isn’t spinning, move on to the next troubleshooting step.
Once all the debris has been removed, reassemble the vacuum cleaner and try using it again. Use your fingers or a blunt object (such as a screwdriver) to carefully remove any debris that’s wrapped around the brush shaft. On some models, there may be a cover over the brush roll that needs to be removed before you can access it. Locate the brush roll on the vacuum cleaner’s floorhead.
